Oh, no problem! It’s not something are usually told about unless they ARE a spoonie.

I’m not the best at explaining, but a “spoonie” is anyone with a chronic illness. For example, I have narcolepsy with cataplexy, chronic migraines, and GERD. Spoonies are often treated badly by able-bodied people because we “don’t look sick”- or, as we call it, we have an “invisible illness”.

As for what a spoon is… for all intents and purposes, it’s a unit of measurement to gauge energy.

I love Toriel because she’s so matronly and caring- she wants only the best, treating all young ones like her children without discrimination, even based on species in a time when humans were against monsters. She wants to teach and share her love, and that makes me very happy. uvu

Mostly indie pop, electronic, and indie acoustic. Owl City is my absolute fave, and I also like Little Comets, Said the Whale, Mindy Gledhill… and then, of course, Ninja Sex Party and Starbomb!

Hmmm…. it varies. Some days I’m feeling pretty good, and others…. not so much is the way I’m going to put it. I’m getting better as time goes on, though. Slowly but surely. I’m hoping that there will be a point in my life where every morning I wake up with contentment in who I am and the choices I make.
