Adventurer Paige meeting all sorts of weird creatures on her journey, and a pygmy marmoset she encounters becomes particularly enamored with her, so she brings it with her. It’s a tiny little thing, but it’s got enough moxie for ten people and will stand up to anything, which she find amusing and admirable all at once, considering he’s such a small guy, yet he doesn’t let daunting things intimidate him.

Adventurer Paige keeps a journal wherever she goes, and fills it with sketches and ramblings that aren’t necessarily about the places she saw, but just about typical daily stuff. After all, she’ll always remember the jarring details of the beauties and tragedies of her adventure, but she’ll never remember what she ate for breakfast on February 7th.

I’m thinking about the character Adventurer Paige and how she’s tough and rad but kind of socially shy. So she needs a charter to go out and explore the seven seas, but she can’t go ask the Queen in person, right? So she writes this long and detailed letter explaining why she has to go out into the ocean and what she’s looking for and she sends it to the Queen.

And the Queen is so moved that she totally gives her the charter and thus Paige’s adventures begin with her motley crew of deckhands. ;u;
