PERSONA DANCING ALL OVER MY SOUL
"I generally just tumble around."

Who We Are

So since our motley crew of crystal gems has rounded out to Charoite, Opalite, Lavendulan, and Citrine, I took the liberty of adjusting our theme song. It’s to the tune of the Steven Universe Extended Theme. Maybe I’ll record it later?

Lyrics under the cut! Like if you read, too. OvO It’s meant to show a progression of the group, where they start out kind of jokingly describing themselves, but when they really think about what they’re doing on Earth, they show their more serious resolve.

Real Talk: More often than not, Charoite and Emerald don’t form Watermelon Tourmaline for fighting. They usually do it because Citrine isn’t home and they can’t reach something.

I mean, it’s either that or one of them trying to knock what they want off the shelf with a scythe… and that never works out well.

The three fusion combinations of the NB Gems: Citrine, Charoite, and Emerald!

Cuprite: Citrine and Charoite. The most responsible of the fusions, they have two arms and three eyes, as their components both tend to take action, but do have differing opinions and interests in some aspects. Their weapon is a pair of modified swords, with Charoite’s scythe blades and the blades of the swords.

Watermelon Tourmaline: Charoite and Emerald. The shortest and most spontaneous of the fusions. Also the most stable, having two arms and four eyes- however, two of the eyes are hidden on the back of the head not because they see things differently, but because they are always looking out for one another. Their weapon is a double-ended scythe.

Prasiolite: Citrine and Emerald. The tallest and most level-headed of the fusions. They have four arms and three eyes, as their components see most things eye to eye, but one prefers not to take action while the other does not internalize the problem as much. Their weapon is split between each set of arms- the first set is a pair of blades that attach to the sleeves of the outer arms, and the inner arms can wield the staff of Emerald’s scythe in a more defensive manner.

Fusion of Citrine and Emerald- Prasiolite!
Now that I’ve drawn all three fusions of the NB gems, I can finish their group picture. =u=

Their weapon is the blased on two of their arms, but they also posess the staff of Emerald’s scythe, with the arm blades being for close combat like Citrine is accustomed to.

Citrine and Topaz, two of my Steven Universe OCs. They are sisters, withTopaz being three years older. Topaz is much more In Control of her abilities, while Citrine has always struggled with maintaining her abilities. Much like her, they tend to be unreliable.

Topaz has the weapon of aura, and can protrude aura spheres from her right palm. She uses the aura spheres to fire as beams of light, form shields, and other things of the like.

Citrine’s weapon is a plasma whip, much like what Zero Suit Samus had in Brawl. It doesn’t always appear when she wants it too, and she’s sloppy in her technique of using it.

Topaz always fights with her eyes closed, being more agile and in tune with her abilities when they are closed.

Citrine holds a slight resentment that she isn’t as talented as Topaz, and because of this she puts her energy into living a human life, and shoves away her responsibilities as a Crystal Gem.
