1. Love/Hate

2. Love it as a ship, Hate how the show is handling it.

The show is rushing it with silly plot devices that are just really juvenile and boring.

As a pairing, I love them. Scott, now less of a douche after he suffered his comeuppance last season, is now open for character development. We hear more about his home life, and he admits he likes taking orders. The sophisticated, sassy, clean-cut, extroverted Courtney is just mystifying to him. Courtney, although he seems terribly below her standards, sees that he’s actually a nice guy, and that *gasp* that could be more important than looks? Cuteness ensues.

My thoughts on tonight’s episode ((SPOILERS)):

-“I exfoliate once a week!” Alejandro in this season is just so fantastic– I can’t even.

-Chef being creeped out by Mal. Oh my gosh how perfect, considering how scary Chef was in s1 with guarding his kitchen and running the boot camp and stuff.

-Jose. Is his entire family just a bunch of attractive, cocky, manipulative Hispanic men?

-“Not in the face; never in the face.” Best line of the episode. Best moment right here. Also I laughed at Jose using the confessional. Bitch u ain’t even on this show!

-Izzy being able to tell at a glance that Mal was not Mike. Oh my God that made my heart just explode with joy. Like holy shit can I just say YES. YESSSSSS

-Mal beating the shit out of Izzy. Who even can do that?! In one episode, he scares Chef and beats up Izzy. WE GOT A REAL BADASS OVER HERE.

-Gwetney feels. Though TBH I don’t ship them romantically sosorrynotsorry but I friendship them so hardcore.

-Just dear lord this episode was fantastic! Can’t wait for next ep! >u<

-What I think of them: In TDI, I loved her character. I thought the friction between her and Duncan was just great, and even on her own she was an interesting character. In following seasons, though, I lost interest in her character. Especially in the new season, I’ve stopped caring for her altogether, and I have a dislike for her nowadays. She’s catty, selfish, and pretty much a preppy Jo in terms of temperament. It’s too bad, considering I really liked her in TDI.

-My favorite season they were in: TDI

-My favorite ship of them: CourtneyxDuncan

-My least favorite ship of them: I can’t think of any really popular Courtney ships that I don’t like off the top of my head…. I think I’m going to say NoahxCourtney. Their personalities would just clash to the death. Noah is too unsympathetic for Courtney’s softer side to ever make it’s debut in the relationship, if you ask me.

-My favorite quote of theirs: “I AM A C.I.T.!” That’s pretty much her excuse for everything. XD
