Can I talk about how much I love this scene for a moment? We see Red and Bird, Yellow’s friends, deciding to ignore Yellow in favor of their picnic after they upset him - making them seem rather uncaring. Meanwhile, Yellow is introduced to a bunch of people who instantly declare their love for him. Clearly the new puppets love him more, right?
But by the end of the video, Yellow’s new “friends” try to forcibly make him join their cult, while Bird and Red go and look for him, apologize, and give him an egg to make him feel better. Basically, your real friends may make mistakes or seem like they don’t care, but that doesn’t mean they don’t love you - and people who instantly act like they’re your friends probably have ulterior motives for doing so, and might not be so great in the end.
Please ignore the microphone stand shoved up his back. He’s over 3 feet tall, made nearly entirely from fleece, and completely hand-made. Nothing but respect for the crew on DHMIS, because building this guy was not easy. Mine’s not perfect, but I’m pretty proud of it.
