2. I just think Duncan is really compatible with a lot of the TD girls, Zoey included! Zoey works well with Duncan imo because she can tell there’s a soft side to him deep down, and she wants to see that side of him. She’s happy when he opens up just a little more, but won’t be blind to when he’s being a butt. If he’s being a meanie, she’ll totally call him out. I feel like Zoey would make him a better person, and they could just have a fulfilling relationship where Duncan realizes that being a nice guy isn’t something to be ashamed of.

I actually considered posting this for Duncan Appreciation Day yesterday, but wound up deciding against it. After all, I certainly don’t appreciate what he did in the last episode (and I’m pretty sure there’s people in the fandom who would kill me for posting this at all, let alone on Duncan Day)
Instead, I’m posting it the day after, hoping that Duncan may wind up appreciating a few things a bit more after the consequences of Episode 8.
Maybe being a good guy isn’t so bad after all…

-What I think of them: Although they emphasize it more in this season, I like the notion that deep down, Duncan is kind of a good guy. That doesn’t mean he can’t be an asshole to some people or like to break rules, but he does have a strong sense of right and wrong. It’s cool to see how one moment he won’t even feel remorse about making Harold’s life terrible, but then the next moment he’ll be finding a new bunny so DJ won’t cry. It’s a pleasant mix of badass and moral compass. I think that Courtney helped bring out both of these qualities in season 1.
