Warning About Consuming Raw Salmon

Hey all, just throwing this out there bc it’s useful to know, but y'all should avoid raw salmon for a while. They’ve been finding tapeworm parasites in Alaskan salmon. Cooked salmon is 100% safe bc heat kills the parasite, but just avoid raw salmon in sushi or anything to be safe and free of worries about gross parasites.

I fact checked across many websites and it’s unclear if all salmon species can potentially carry the parasite, but Alaskan salmon are the primary concern. If you’ve consumed raw salmon recently, don’t be too freaked out because it’s very uncommon, but still better to know for safety.

Look, I’m just gonna say it: the people who price hot dogs are fucking cowards. They have NO business charging such outrageous prices for the tubular mystery meat. It’s just wrong, and I am personally offended that a single pack of weenies is like $4. I wanted to make pigs in a blanket, but it’s just not economically viable when I have to buy the cheese and crescent rolls in addition to the overly priced h dogs. I want to know who is responsible for them, and I want them to meet me in the pit for some fisticuffs.

Depression is so fucking weird because the back of my brain is always like “why am I even alive I’m not accomplishing anything everything is meaningless” but then something happens like I find meatballs in the freezer that can be cooked in the microwave and for a solid half hour my life suddenly has genuine purpose like there’s no joke here this is legit my life right now because I may be depressed but there’s a bowl of meatballs waiting for me and that’s beautiful.
