Not to mention when Ryuji almost dies saving everyone from the ship but all the girls decide to be idiots and get mad and probably beat him. Like how much of a bitch do you have to be to treat the guy who just risked his life to save you like shit
FORREAL THOUGH!!! It makes sense for them to get a little pissed in the heat of the moment, but the level to which they get angry to the point where they literally beat him up is so ridiculous and goes against the supposed friendship they all have. Hell, I can’t remember who it was but I THINK it was Makoto who pointed out that Ryuji is selfless when it really counts. Yet they still treat him like shit??? At least for most of the game, Ann has a great dynamic with him. Hell, the beach scene where he sees her in a bikini was great because in past Persona games it goes: guy that isn’t protagonist is impressed by female party member in a swimsuit, said female party member gets pissed af at them. Yet it’s a great example of Ann’s personality when she ends up fucking laughing at him and being like “ohhh you like me now huh? >:D”. We needed more of THAT.

YES PLEASE. Between Aigis, Naoto, and Haru, it seems that the last lady to join the team in each games gets all the gun skills and I’m 100% for it.
Maybe that’s why her hair is so floofy and she wears such a poofy sweater so she can hide her weapons with ease shit we’ve caught onto her.

Including the base forms, I think Carmen is my favorite of the party member’s personas. Milady gets points for having a fucking artillery under her skirt, but Carmen is my fave design.
Okay, real talk: A lot of the awakened personas in this game were really weak. In Persona 3 and 4 they all pretty much built off of the base persona so there wasn’t much room to fuck up. I appreciate that they took such a risk this time around… but good golly. Kamu Susano-o, Prometheus, and Seiten Taisei are all complete downgrades from their base forms and it hurts my heart. I’m ambivalent towards Anat. Side Note: We do not need any more Susano-o, for goodness’ sake. Hecate, Astarte, and Mercurius are all solid and I rather like them.
I’m on my third playthrough- on my first run, Makoto. Second run, everyone (THAT WAS A BIG MISTAKE DON’T DO IT) but I picked Futaba for holidays and stuff, and on my current playthrough I plan to romance just Haru.
My favorite was probably Sae’s. The music is the best palace music, the casino vibe is really aesthetically pleasing, and there’s no terrible gimmicks that drove me up a wall. If anything, her rigged games made me laugh. Plus, by that point the whole gang is together.
As for a least favorite, probably Okumura’s. It’s just not super fun, and the air lock float-through-space puzzle at the end is frustrating more than challenging. Also, a majority of the enemies in the palace either resist, null, or reflect physical moves (so if you don’t got SP adhesives or lots of coffee and curry, you’re fucked). I like to get palaces done in one day whenever possible. On my first playthrough, I didn’t have a lot of SP healing items because I didn’t know they’re damn near necessary, and so I had to do the fight against the three waves of grunt robos with JUST PHYSICAL MOVES. It took like a half hour and it was annoying as hell. The whole dungeon just doesn’t feel… satisfying.

HECK YEAH !!! //I am such a slut for getting ask meme stuff you have no idea//
I’ve put some thought into this before, actually. Although not super suitable for a heist like most palaces in the game, mine would look more or less like a hospital, since my apartment often feels a bit like a ward to me. In reality, it’s where I rest and spend a majority of my time doing nothing of much consequence. I have pill bottles everywhere because of all the medications I have to take; a hyperbolic comparison could very well be a hospital ward. It goes without saying, but the deadly sin attributed to it would be sloth. From a video game perspective, there would be a lot of locked room puzzles, using what little information is in each room to escape and move to the next, or something like that.
I’m on my third playthrough, and rather than one single part that bothers me, it’s more of a recurring issue. There are several points in the game where it feels far too controlled. I understand exposition needs to be done and whatnot ((plus I actually really like visual novels so you’d think I wouldn’t mind)), though sometimes it feels like it drones on for TOO long when I just want to be upping my stats and spending time with confidants. Plus, when they finally give you free roam, you get interrupted almost every day with a long chat conversation, which starts to grate on my nerves. The time feels even more limited with the amount of nights Morgana forces you to sleep instead of getting to do anything. Persona 5 has a longer main story than 3 & 4 did, yet it almost feels shorter because such a large handful of your days are either completely or partially controlled.
