PERSONA DANCING ALL OVER MY SOUL
"I generally just tumble around."

TBH It’s really jarring to be out and about or at work because strangers always address me as a girl and it just kind of surprises me because since more or less coming out all my close friends and all my internet friends use the right pronouns with me, and I’ve become so comfortable in my identity that I couldn’t possibly think of myself as a girl. So when strangers misgender me I just look at them like they sprouted an extra head and it’s just really awkward even though my voice is a dead giveaway that I’m afab.

Attack on Titan and Death Note are published in Shounen Jump, a children’s manga magazine aimed towards younger boys.

Fullmetal Alchemist was published in Monthly Shounen Gangan, also a children’s manga magazine aimed towards younger boys.

they literally are for children

Plus on Japan, where this content originated, what’s deemed appropriate for kids is different than in America. From what I understand, sexual themes and some violence are normally acceptable for young audiences, whereas in America the slightest hint of sexuality is something we must burrow our children from. So, yeah, honestly anime is for kids. It just doesn’t seem that way to Americans because of cultural norms.

It doesn’t mean I’ll stop watching anime by any means, but it is meant for kids.
