I’ve lowered my commission prices, and have plenty of slots open!
I’m hoping to be commissioned by anyone wanting a neat-o colorful sketch of whatever character(s) they want; being disabled, queer, and in college… life is both stressful and expensive.
Prices:
Basic Sketch :: $5 ((+$3 for each additional character))
Colored Sketch :; $10 ((+$6 for each additional character))*
Colored and Shaded Sketch :: $15 ((+$8 for each additional character))

Frankly, I can barely afford what I need. My work hours are very limited because I’m a student, my medications are $100 for just a month’s supply, I have a service dog and of course it costs money to take care of her- I could go on but I think I’ve made the point. Basically, finances are a huge source of stress.

I mention this on the page, but right now I’m just trying to scrape up some money to get Christmas gifts for my family. I’m queer, disabled, and in college, so money isn’t really an abundance for me. I work very limited hours, and I spend more money in medications alone in a given month than on food. Hey there; I got a pack of like 4 or 5 boxers and I just don’t like how they fit because I’ve got thicker thighs. They’re a size medium, and I’m 5′2″ and 145 lbs. They fit great on the waist but just too snug around the thigh.

Today we had the weekly staff meeting, and while I was in the writing center a coworker accidentally called me she- I actually did not notice because I was taking my meds and eating a snack. When we sat down at the meeting, he pulled me aside and apologized for using the wrong pronouns, even though I hadn’t even noticed. Later on, another coworker used the pronouns, and when I pointed it out she was quick to apologize and correct herself.
Basically, this is why I love college. It gets so much better.

The other day my pronoun pin came in the mail! It was an affordable way to let people know my correct pronouns, since people always assume I’m in the gender binary. I also have a he/him button because I use both, but at work people mostly use they/them, so I’ll wear that for work, and he/him for classes, which is where I mostly use h/him pronouns.
Here’s a link to the etsy shop I got my buttons from- I ordered the two pronoun buttons and they also threw in a free ‘Fuck Gender Roles’ button that I wasn’t expecting! That was a really cool extra. The buttons have several color options and two size options- I’m pretty sure you can get them with specific pronouns that may not be in the drop-down menu.
I needed a cheap way to keep my pronouns know to save my mental state, and this fits the bill! For both buttons and shipping it was $8.00 even. I bought the larger size of buttons, so if you only chose to get one button of the small size it would only be like $3.00 including shipping, I think.
Anyways, I’m amped to be wearing my buttons. C:
