If you’re reading this, please be good to your followers and don’t spread screamers around. They can be dangerous and cause accidents and emergencies among people with anxiety disorders, epilepsy, and other conditions. And even if someone doesn’t have a medical condition and is just scared by them, you still should avoid spreading them for their sake because it’s not cool to try and trick people into seeing screamers.
So yeah, just letting y'all know I love you and this blog is 1000000000% free of that garbage. If anything, I’ll be reblogging posts that warn about screamer posts so you can avoid them. <3

A reminder to con goers that disabled cosplayers exist.
Some people will not be able to respond to your in character rps, they may even frown at you. This doesn’t mean that what you did was bad or unappreciated, some people just don’t know how to react!

No matter how in character you are trying to be, DO NOT purposefully be loud or touchy around people. This includes barreling into people as you run through a crowd.
Also do not be overtly sexual in what you say around people you don’t know. I have a friend who was cosplay ing as Haruhi from Ouran. She is a survivor of rape. A Hikaru and Karu cosplayer approached her and started making very sexual remarks that they thought were just being playful, but they were very triggering to her and she ended up having to go back to the hotel room for a few hours.
Just be mindful of disabled cosplayers. There are more of us than you think, and we just want to be able to enjoy a convention without being nervous of all these things happening.
