Applications for TDHS are OPEN!

Although we’re a bit shy of the follower goal, I figured I’d open auditions now. This way they can stay open for a while and give me plenty of time to make the art and whatnot for characters as they’re approved. I will be accepting 16-24 competitors depending on the number of applicants!

ALL applications must be submitted to thetotaldramarp@gmail.com so they can be properly archived and kept track of. If you don’t email me your application, there’s no guarantee I’ll see it.

NOTE: Very little of this information will be made public. Things like personality, history/past, strengths/weaknesses, and so on will not be revealed to other contestants, as that should be done at your discretion in RP. I will always ask permission before including any personal information in an episode. The audition tapes, though, will be made public OOC [out of character].

Also, I know the application seems long, but it’s mostly basic information, honestly. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask via the inbox on this blog and I’ll answer as best as I can! Good luck, and have fun with it.~

Appearance: ((Please be as specific as possible. At bare minimum, include details such as: height, skin color, eye color, hair color, hair style/length, clothing, and features of note. More detail will allow me to make a more accurate drawing of your character, so please add as much as possible! Attaching a picture is also helpful, but even if you attach a picture you MUST give a written description.))

Personality: ((Again, the more information, the better. A minimum of a lengthy paragraph should be kept in mind when filling this out. Remember, the writers of the episodes only know what you tell them, so more detail here will allow them to better represent your character in each episode. Write as much as you want, and be as specific as you can.))

History/Past: ((As with the prior two, more detail is appreciated. This just helps the writer know the motivations behind your character, though details of your character’s past will not be revealed in episodes without your permission.))

Strengths: ((List 3-5 strengths of your character. This is referring mostly to personality traits, or general skills.))

Weaknesses: ((List a minimum of 3 character flaws. Again, these should mostly be personality traits.))

Talents: ((Specific skills your character possesses, like knowing a certain sport or playing a certain instrument. List no more than 5.))

Reason for Competing: ((In about a paragraph, describe why your character agreed to a show like TDHS. Do they need the money? Why/whynot? What would they do with the prize money?))

Audition Tape: ((Write a passage describing their audition tape. Write it in any style, but it should more or less be them in front of a camera, explaining in their own words why they should be on the show. Ideally at least 200 words, but it can be shorter as there’s no word count minimum.))
