now the lgbt community confuses me
if bi doesnt mean 2 anymore, wats the point of poly?
should demi and pan be basically the same thing since gender doesnt matter?
these tiny subtle differences are becoming more confusing every day

Labels are 99% about personal comfort. Although many sexualities overlap, some labels just don’t fit people!
Like for me; technically I can be classified as polysexual or bisexual! But I really don’t feel like the term bisexual fits me, and polysexual does, so I identify as polysexual.
Sexualities are like T-shirts. A lot of T-shirts will fit your body, but some fit better than others. Or maybe you don’t like the color or logo of one T-shirt even if it fits your bod pretty well, y'know? But then, there’s a shirt that fits you rad and you love the color and design… so you buy that shirt! And some people just don’t like T-shirts so they don’t buy them and opt for something else, like tank tops. That’s coolio too!
So labels are up to personal comfort, and some people don’t use them at all and it’s all awesome. ouo
And demi and pan are a whole different can of worms, my friend! XD
