Alpharad, a YouTuber with a similar vibe to his comedy, but without the problematic views and bigotry! He’s a smaller channel with regular game-related content. As a starting point, let me recommend his video “Pokemon Sun: The Whole Game in 20 Minutes!” because it was the hardest I’d laughed at something in a while and really sold me on the channel as a whole.

Jontron is still better, and he ain’t a bigot. Prove to me that he is a bigot.

I won’t particularly try to persuade you, honestly. Here’s a few sources that mostly catalog things he’s said; for me and many others, his statements/views are troubling and problematic.

Again, you’re free to consume whatever content you find enjoyable, but these are the reasons people are rightfully dropping his content and seeking less problematic alternatives.

I made a post earlier specifically mentioning Alpharad, but I realized y’all deserve ~options~ so I combed through my YouTube subscriptions to find some similar styles of comedy.

Chadtronic is probably the most similar to Jontron’s format and style, though if you like his humor, then everyone on this list should fit the bill. To my knowledge these content creators are all pretty swell people and they all make great videos on a regular basis, so…. go forth! Binge watch!

My stance on most things is that it’s possible to like something but still be aware and acknowledge that it’s problematic as all get out, and be accommodating to people who are sensitive to the problematic aspects.

Ex:// I love Game Grumps and JonTron, and they can’t go a single video without making some messed up joke. Sometimes they take it too far and it’s cringe worthy at best, but I still think they’re radical and hilarious. I can put up with the awful bits because overall they’re funny and great people imo. Though I understand why people don’t like their videos or have problems with their humor. I also try to avoid reblogging quotes or content pertaining to their tasteless jokes/bits, out of respect for my followers.

Anywho, you can like what you like, but be willing to acknowledge when it’s problematic and gross. OuO
