PERSONA DANCING ALL OVER MY SOUL
"I generally just tumble around."

The Joys of Playing a Support Character at a LARP

  • Reviving your fallen ally to full health and sneering at the enemy like “BITCH YOU THOUGHT-”
  • Buffing your ally to take half damage and watching them proceed to tear through enemies like a champ.
  • Injured allies passing by like a revolving door to be brought to full health and sent right back out into the battle.
  • Shadowing an ally to immediately remove status effects as soon as they’re cast as well as restoring health mid-combat.
  • You don’t have to be good at combat, thank the Lord.
  • You pretty much never have to worry about aiming anything.
  • There are never enough supports, so being constantly involved and needed is rad.

LARPing is really fun and I enjoy playing a sparkly alicorn. 8D

He sells his blood since it has magical properties and boy howdy it often gets the townspeople drunk which is a fun, fun occurrence to witness.

Just got home from LARP- it was a great weekend! Some of the best character interactions I’ve ever had at game, and I also finally had a warm-ish cabin. :’D

Just a few more hours until I can eject myself from reality for the weekend. Gonna wear fun costumes and sell my blood at the town market for a decent price. 8D

I love to LARP because it allows me to engage in fantasy themes such as having money, owning property, being part of a community, and using magic.

Pro-Tip: Don’t leave a ton of baking and packing until the night before a LARP.

Tomorrow is LARP!!! I’m so freakin’ excited; my girlfriend and I are doing all our last minute prep because we’re traaaaaaaash. I’ve got baking, packing, and making sparkly fake blood to sell on the agenda. 8D

This weekend is LARP weekend! I’m bringing in an alicorn character and he is one majestically pompous motherfucker I tell ya. Welcome to Pastel Hell ©.

On a lighter note, I went to my first LARP last weekend! It’s a fantasy LARP based in the land of Oz, long after the events of the well-known movie. My character is Astrophel, and owl changeling who is a light witch, examiner (doctor), and practitioner of the arts (can perform rituals). He’s not a fighter, but during battles he’s quick to calm enemies and heal his allies. It was an incredible experience and I can’t wait for the September game!
