The joke was that people have been giving her shit for years and her old philosophy was “Shake It Off” but now she creates the most “fuck you” diss track I’ve seen in a while. XD I think her marketing prowess is fucking genius, to the point where it is intentional that there is the perspective that some can argue that she also released the most petty clapback. But, that’s kind of the point? She worked with how other people talk shit on her instead of trying to work against it. Can it come off as petty and over-dramatic? Yes. Is that intentional? Hell yes.

TL;DR I think it was outright intentional for her to come across as over-dramatic, petty, etc. in many of her personas in LWYMMD because that’s who the media have been trying to set her up to be, and instead of trying to fight it she’s like “guess I’ll just own it”.
