Yes, actually! I still need to get my friend to come over with their camera, but I recently received a galaxy-print binder from Shapeshifters. They’re an awesome business run by LGBT+ people for LGBT+ people, and one of the store’s owners, Eli, was exceptionally friendly with their customer service and enlisting me to be as model for them. They even specified looking for plus-sized, minority models ((with other usually avoided traits in fashion models)). So I would SUPER recommend looking into them. Plus, their patterns are FREAKING AMAZING. I’ll have better pictures soon, but here’s a selfie for now. C:

I’m so mad that I stop myself from wearing makeup because a majority of society automatically assumes makeup = female. I love to do peoples’ makeup because I’m artsy and it’s so fun to play with colors but I don’t have anyone’s makeup to do and I’m scared of being more misgendered than I already am. A round of applause and encouragement for the nb and non-female identifying trans people who wear makeup despite people not understanding. The other day my pronoun pin came in the mail! It was an affordable way to let people know my correct pronouns, since people always assume I’m in the gender binary. I also have a he/him button because I use both, but at work people mostly use they/them, so I’ll wear that for work, and he/him for classes, which is where I mostly use h/him pronouns.

Here’s a link to the etsy shop I got my buttons from- I ordered the two pronoun buttons and they also threw in a free ‘Fuck Gender Roles’ button that I wasn’t expecting! That was a really cool extra. The buttons have several color options and two size options- I’m pretty sure you can get them with specific pronouns that may not be in the drop-down menu.

I needed a cheap way to keep my pronouns know to save my mental state, and this fits the bill! For both buttons and shipping it was $8.00 even. I bought the larger size of buttons, so if you only chose to get one button of the small size it would only be like $3.00 including shipping, I think.

Anyways, I’m amped to be wearing my buttons. C:
