So I haven’t colored/shaded anything in a while and wanted to do something as practice before coloring a commission I’m working on. I ended up thinking about an old OC since I saw the first picture, which I drew of him about 5 years ago. And here we have a redux of sorts. I’m pleased to announce I no longer draw in MS Paint like I used to.

About: Although they are a Psychic-type leader, they actually aren’t Psychic. At least, not int he traditional sense. Jack is a scholar who has been studying psychology and behavioral science for quite some time- to them, being a Psychic is less about mind reading and more about having a deepened awareness of the mind, especially one’s own.
Jack’s companion Pokemon, Munna, is both a companion and a service Pokemon. Jack has narcolepsy, and their Munna has been trained to monitor their dreams and sleep-wake cycle, and even communicate with Jack via dreams. Because of this, Jack has been known to be able to battle while sleeping, with Munna being the mediator to allow this.
Battle: Jack’s signature Pokemon is their Gallade, which hits fast and hard, often before the opponent even has a chance to prepare themselves. The team as a whole is compromised of heavy hitters, yet many of them are still able to maintain a defensive stance when needed, like their Metagross.

10. Would your OC prefer to live in the city, the suburbs, or the country?
He would definitely prefer the suburbs. He doesn’t like the business of the city, but wants the option to go to the city when he feels like it. Plus, he doesn’t like extremely rural places because they feel too lonely and empty to him.
16. Your OC is suddenly on an adventure! Where do they go and what do they do?
He somehow ends up lost in the winding backroads of Canada and is trying to keep his cool while slowly getting more and more lost. Bonus: Monica is trying to assure him that everything is fine and they just took a wrong turn somewhere and it’ll all be okay.

Jack is kind of my shameless self insert, so I don’t know if there’s anything he canonically hates that I enjoy.

She wouldn’t really care for me one way or another. I can’t see myself being the type she’d hold any level of fascination with, so our interactions would be brief and based only on necessity, I figure. She wouldn’t dislike me, per se.

Adelia is oddly phenomenal at Wheel of Fortune. It’s almost ridiculous, really.

Yes, the light doesn’t seem to bother her too much. She actually prefers a bit of light to total darkness, but won’t fret too much if it’s pitch black.

She cannot stand being called “angel” or “doll”.

I can’t remember the name of his face claim off the top of my head, but it’s the guy who plays the TrebleMaker’s breatboxer in Pitch Perfect. I’m too lazy to look up the name at the moment.

I adore shark-themed horror movies. I can imagine Bastien would find them utterly horrendous.
