More doodles from beginning of sophomore year.

I was thinking about writing a fairy tale, kind of a spin on Cinderella, if you will.

Basically there’s a princess, Sarah, who is being pressured to find a suitor by her parents, but Sarah is lesbian and does not want to marry a guy. She doesn’t have a say in the matter, though, as getting married is more of a political statement anyways.

Meanwhile, there’s a young girl named Sky who grew up in poverty with her three younger sisters. When Sky hears about a chance to marry into the royal family, she sees it as the perfect opportunity to get the money to provide for her siblings since they live in an economy where there is barely a idle class and those born into poverty stay in poverty (thinks 1920s America, so to speak).

Though Sky doesn’t see how she could pull off masquerading as a boy, much less a rich one worthy of the princess’ hand in marriage.

Just then, Sky is visited by a beautiful angel named Mattie. ((A trans*woman angel)) who plays the role of a fairy godmother of sorts, using her powers to transform her into a physiological boy until midnight.

At the castle, Princess Sarah is visited by another angel, a bodaciously beautiful angel named Chloe, who tells her that tomorrow night she will find the one to marry, and not to fret.

… I never finished the story, but I imagine Sarah meets male Sky and thinks he’s cool but just isn’t into men. However she has to choose someone, and she has a lot in common with Sky so she chooses him. The clock strikes midnight and Sky claims he has to go and he’ll be back later. The princess chases after him, heading to the garden where Sky went towards. In the garden, Sarah meets the real Sky, who is back in her tattered clothes.

The two talk, and Sarah finds that she rather likes this girl.

She asks for her name.

When Sarah finds out Sky was the boy from earlier, she can hardly believe it, but insists they still get married. This isn’t a problem since Sky is bisexual, by the way

The only problem…. Her parents won’t allow it because Sky is poor. Though then Mattie and Chloe appear, and…

I can’t really think of an ending.

Probably won’t ever finish this.

When I was a freshman, I thought a lot about making my own Fakemon region. Never finished or got very far in it, but here’s some blurry concept art.

So there’s some gym leaders, I kind of still like Kenna’s design.
