Do You Like Space? Do You Like Games?!

justaprinceofthegalaxy:

I sure hope you do, because a peer of mine ((and his two friends)) in Calculus has put a whole lot of effort into a top-down space shooter called “Stellar Year: Unknown”. Now, I don’t know a thing about programming or game design- I just know it takes a massive amount of time, effort, and skill. And after putting that much into it, shouldn’t their effort be acknowledged? I think so; I want their project to get the green light on Steam! It only takes a second to give them a quick vote- let the people at Steam know that you like the idea of their game, that it’s interesting and that they deserve to get a chance to have their project out on the market.

If you want to take just a couple seconds to help out, click right here and give a thumbs up to Bean Boy Games and their space-tastic survival game! You can also search “Stellar Year: Unknown” on Steam Greenlight if you’re not in the mood to be clicking links- that’s cool, that’s cool.

The last thing I’m going to ask before leaving you alone is that you reblog this- pass it around so more and more people hear about this game and ‘rocket’ it into popularity… I’m sorry. But seriously, I cannot stress enough that I can’t conceptualize what goes into something like this. To think that a peer of mine, someone trying to make it through college classes like Calculus, no less, would still make the time and effort to produce this? Boost this up, and I implore my fellow Steam users to give a thumbs up to Bean Boy Games for their take on a tried-and-true classic.
