It’s entirely possible that the Professor Layton games are my all-time favorite games.

The plot is god-tier, the cutscenes are animated, PROFESSOR LAYTON’S VOICE ACTOR JUST WINS AT EVERYTHING, did I mention the plot is perfect, and also the characters are perfect and alas I am in love with Hershel Alfendi and Clive all at once sense help please, EVEN THE SPIN-OFFS ARE INCREDIBLE LIKE GOOD LORD I JUST STARTED MYSTERY ROOM AND I’M FILLED WITH THAT FANBOY WONDER AS I WATCH THE STORY UNRAVEL AND BEGIN TO SHIP LUCIFENDI WHOOPS.

Professor Layton and Claire are the most important Nintendo couple.
