Since being diagnosed with BPD, I’ve begun looking for resources to figure out more of how I can best help myself as I’m able, or at least how I can ask others to support me. I’ve found some great resources, but I’ve found a disturbing amount of other resources mixed in, and it’s horrific. It makes my stomach twist, and I honestly don’t know how to respond. Below, I’m going to list just a few of the pages I found when looking for support resources.

I feel sick. Normally I would have a long, well-articulated rant in response to something as awful as this, but all I feel is ill. I have no words for this. This is what people think of BPD.

I dont care if the bitch wants to cosplay as Garnet, many people are pissed because she did fucking blackface. This shit hits a sore spot for many black people but usually most white people of fandoms dont care

“R*tarded” is not used as medical terminology specifically because the word has become a slur.

Nobody in the field, except for very old people (people who’ve been working in the field since the 1970′s/80′s and have yet to update their terminology) uses it anymore. 

So don’t give me that “it’s a medical term” bullshit. It’s a slur and you’re using it as a way to ostracize and other dd/id individuals.

• “sassy black woman” voice
• t-slurs everywhere and rampant transphobia
• talking down to women/harassing them because “it’s ok i’m gay lol”
• transphobia towards trans men (ew, vaginas!!!)
• misogyny towards cis women (more ew, vaginas!!!!)
• “gay is the new black” (says white gay men)
