TBH I just found out about the term spoonie and the spoon theory about a week ago. And it is literally the perfect explanation you can give to someone who doesn’t understand chronic illness, and I love the term spoonie.

And even better, since finding out about it I’ve gotten to meet and talk to other spoonies and you people are just so wonderful. It’s like, WHERE HAVE THESE BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE BEEN ALL MY LIFE?!?!
