This just reminds me of history class when we used to learn about the civil rights movements and everyone in class being like “oh my gosh how could they do that just because of someone’s skin color! If I were alive then I would have stood up against that injustice!”

Well, you’re alive now and I don’t see you saying a darn thing.

My mom is sitting here telling me that I’m wrong for being angry about what happened in Ferguson. I just want her to leave me alone I do not want to have this discussion with her at all. Lord grant me patience I can’t deal with this right now.

And now she’s telling me that it’s black people killing other black people more often and that that disgusting cop wasn’t racist.

I can’t believe the words I’m hearing.

I love my mom but this is unbelievable and infuriating.
