why watch superwholock, a show with queerbaiting, sexism, and racism, when u could watch steven universe instead
steven universe has:
nonbinary characters that are feminine (Do you know how rare that is for a nonbinary character, even an alien, to use female pronouns and look feminine? I mean yeah okay they could actually show their non-binary aspect of the identity a little more but IT’S SO FUCKING RARE and as a nonbinary feminine person that’s really important to me)
body positivity for female/feminine characters (Amethyst is short and chubby, Garnet is curvy, and Rose Quartz is actually fat too, and Sadie is also short and chubby and has UST with a skinny guy character)
Look at fucking Rose Quartz
god DAMN she’s tall and huge and beautiful and amazing and i love her so much SHE IS A GODDESS OF BEAUTY AND LIGHT AND WONDER
Female/feminine characters that can hold their own (Fucking Sadie hunted for fish and killed an INVISIBLE gem monster all by herself despite being a normal human being, the Crystal Gems kicking ass on a regular basis)
well-written kid characters that act like actual kids (Steven is really sweet and can act a little bratty at times like an actual kid and isn’t completely naive/complete brat like most kid characters)
A little boy looking up to female-presenting characters and
one of the most ethnically diverse casts ive seen yet in a show
Shows racial facial features in a way that doesn’t make it racist (Like the lips)
Has humanlike aliens that don’t look/sound white without it being stereotypical (Amethyst and Garnet)
