If Jasten were a gem, he’d be White Prehnite and reluctantly work for the DA, I assume. His weapons are robonoids, like Peridot has. His can attach to him like armor or laser blasters, but mostly they just fight individually.

Cain: Don't look at me! ...Look at Khadija.
Khadija: What? I didn't break it.
Cain: Huh, that's weird. How did you even know it was broken?
Khadija: Because it's sitting right in front of us, and it's broken.
Cain: Suspicious.
Khadija: No it's not!
Jasten: I-If it matters, probably not... but Starr was the last one to use it.
Starr: Liar! I don't even drink that crap!
Jasten: Oh, really? Then what were you doing by the coffee cart earlier?
Starr: I use the wooden stirrers to push back my cuticles. Everyone knows that, Jasten!
Rosemary: Okay, okay. Let's not fight, I broke it. Let me pay for it, Addison.
Addison: No! Who broke it?!
Khadija: Addison, Emeris has been really quiet-
Emeris: Really?!
Khadija: Yeah, really.
Emeris: Oh my God, are you kidding-
*squabbling*
*Addison steps aside and looks at the camera*
Addison: I broke it. It burned my hand, so I punched it. I predict that ten minutes from now, they'll be at each other's throats with war paint on their faces and a pig's head on a stick..... it was getting a little chummy around here.
