I am a Christian, and I can still recognize this was a terrorist act against black people. This IS an issue of race.

Today was yearbook day, and ngl, I’m really jarred and touched by a lot of the comments people wrote in here.

Especially nice was a dude who wrote about how I “really opened [his] eyes to what it means to accept others”, and he went on to apologize for all the times he used the incorrect pronouns with me. That really meant a lot, and it was rather sobering to think that how I interact with people can change the way they see the world.

Just a thought.

That feeling when someone you don’t talk to much checks in on you or just does something sweet for you out of the blue and you just don’t know how to respond to such spontaneous kindness and it brightens your day.

when the smart student in the class gets the answer wrong  

when you are the smart kid in class and everyone says that when you get an answer wrong and they all relied on you during study times and now you feel like a failure because their trust is down and make you feel lost and scared and unloved and you just want to cry

Me if I ever come across a smart kid who just had this happen to them.
