Jack is back in the house, and I’ve got plans.

That sounded ominous, so let me elaborate. I left TDT almost a year ago due to life circumstances, but it was the most unique RP I’d ever gotten to partake in, and I’m ready to go all in to be back in the game.

That being said, taking such a long hiatus has given me the perspective to analyze the problems with past seasons, and gave me a lot of data as to how to make an overall exponentially better roleplaying experience for everyone.

I’ll say this much right off the bat: It’s still based around the Total Drama universe, and still a “competition”, but there are a LOT of changes in the works that I think will benefit everyone.

Also this is a really basic RP that I personally think would be fun to partake in even if you don’t watch Total Drama! Especially since you don’t need to know anything about the show to participate. The Actual Season

Alright, now down to the details of the actual season. I’m still working out lots of the details, as I’ll elaborate, but here’s what I know:

Premise: If you’ve watched Total Drama… you know the drill. A bunch of teens compete for a bunch of cash at the hands of the sadistic Chris McLean.

Contestants: I’ll be accepting a maximum of 24 contestants, and a minimum of 16.

Theme: The theme is undecided, because I want you all to vote on it! I think such an important decision should be made by the group as a whole, and I’ll be releasing a poll with all the options in the near future.

Episodes: Well, the number of episodes depends on the contestants. There will be some filler, perhaps, where nobody is eliminated, so it really depends. Episodes will be released in three parts at regular intervals, with 1-2 episodes being released per week. It will likely be closer to 1 episode per week for the sake of quality, allowing time for RP, and things of the sort. Episode themes may also be put to a poll!

Eliminated Contestants: Eliminated contestants will be separate from the ones still in the competition, but they can RP with contestants still in the game. In-character, it will likely be that not even eliminated contestants can watch the show as it airs so they can’t spoil it for the remaining participants.

Voting: After talking with some of the folks doing TDCO, I’ve decided to adopt their method and have it that people will vote for who will be eliminated BEFORE the episode is released, for several reasons I won’t go into during this particular post. Consequently, nobody will be eliminated the first episodes, and perhaps not even the second either, to give people time to RP. Votes will be cast via email, and will be screencapped ((but blurred so they remain anonymous to the public eye)). Votes must be cast IN-CHARACTER, obviously.

People who genuinely like Heather more than Jasmine need to learn to love themselves.

Jasmine being a trans woman is my favorite TD queer headcanon and nobody can convince me otherwise.

I don’t know why but I really ship Amy and Justin and nobody can stop me.

So I’m really digging TDPI. The cast this season is solid and actually well rounded in terms of plot and screen time.
