Not every white person is this ignorant. We have done a lot of bad things, and we still are. But please don’t assume that every single white person is racist, or doesn’t realize what we have and/or doing. Sorry. -waits for hate-
I honestly can’t blame POC for assuming all white people are racist; it’s usually safer for them to assume they all are. And while yes, some people simply aren’t educated, it doesn’t excuse racist behavior.
I see where you’re coming from, but it really isn’t about white people, and if POC are going to assume all white people are racist, I think that’s a pretty mild consequence of the bullshit they get put through by a larger majority of white people than you would think.
((I can’t particularly identify with either party, being a mixed POC but also white passing, so I leave myself out of the term POC in this context.))
