Hairstylist Creates Hair Dyeing Masterpieces Inspired by Classic Fine Art Paintings

I bet their hair looked super-rad for, like, 3 days. But then… 

actually hair color lasts a long time if you take care of it.  Don’t wash your hair everyday and use a sulfate free shampoo and conditioner formulated for colored hair.  Stay out of chlorinated water, don’t spend too much time in the sun, don’t use heat to style your hair(because that’s bad for bleached, compromised hair).

With pastels being an in thing, even when the color does start to fade, it still looks really good provided your bleach job is even underneath.  

All hair dyes are not made equal.  Depending on the color and the brand, it’ll last longer than others.  Colors I find last a long time are Pravana Neon Green, MP Atomic Turquoise, MP Hot hot pink, and MP Siren song.  If your going to use a Manic Panic color, get the stuff in the bottle, not the tub.  It’s more expensive, but it’s got a lot more staying power.

 For best results with any fashion color, be sure and bleach your hair till it’s nearly white.  the lighter your hair the better the color will last.  Never bleached your hair?  Afraid of it?  Go to a stylist.  Find one that uses something like Olaplex, which will protect your hair when it’s being bleached.
